The ASEAN 100 Leadership Forum is a highly interactive meeting of minds for one hundred of the most promising Southeast Asian next-generation leaders from business, government, civil society and the media.
It brings together the best and brightest Southeast Asian men and women who are expected to play key leadership roles in the next five to ten years. They will engage in discussions, dialogue and debate on key issues and challenges facing the region and their implications to business and politics.
The 2006 Forum included dialogues with Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Timor-Leste Prime Minister Dr Jose Ramos Horta, Indonesian Vice President Jusuf Kalla, ASEAN Ministers and the participation of several distinguished members of the Southeast Asian business community.
Past speakers and participants include, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore, former Prime Minister Tun Mahathir Mohamad of Malaysia, Deputy Prime Minister Dato Sri' Najib Tun Razak of Malaysia, Senator Manuel Roxas of the Philippines and several key business leaders including Tony Fernandes of AirAsia, Khairy Jamaluddin of ECM Libra Capital (also Deputy Chair of UMNO Youth), HRH Prince Abdul Qawi of Brunei, Ho Kwon Ping of the Banyan Tree Group, Edmund Koh of DBS Bank and Dr Victor Fung of Li & Fung to mention a few.
