on Leadership for Economic Competitiveness

“What are the leadership requirements for economic competitiveness? How can ASEAN governments respond to the often competing demands of populism, social equity and economic competitiveness? What can we learn from each other on economic reform implementation?”


A short address by a distinguished ASEAN minister on implementing economic reforms followed by an open forum discussion led by key figures from around Southeast Asia.

on Governance and Economic Competitiveness

“Why Governance is Central to Economic Competitiveness”
A conversation with a top ASEAN public figure on the challenges of governance, reform and economic competitiveness.

CONCURRENT FORUM MASTER-CLASSES on Human Capital, Environmental Sustainability, Brand Building and other key topics of relevance.

ASEAN 100 ANNUAL DEBATE

Motion:
“This House believes that enhancing ASEAN’s economic competitiveness requires learning from the East rather than from the West.”

A debate between four ASEAN 100 leaders followed by an open forum discussion and a vote.
